1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Municipal Code by changing
2 Section 1-1-7.1.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by
6 changing Section 1-1-7.1 as follows:
7 (65 ILCS 5/1-1-7.1) (from Ch. 24, par. 1-1-7.1)
8 Sec. 1-1-7.1. Community based committees. Any
9 municipality may establish community based committees that
10 which shall consist of community leaders, and the such
11 committees shall coordinate all State and federal economic
12 programs except where otherwise prohibited by federal law.
