1 AN ACT to amend the Nursing Home Care Act by changing
2 Section 3-102.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Nursing Home Care Act is amended by
6 changing Section 3-102 as follows:
7 (210 ILCS 45/3-102) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 4153-102)
8 Sec. 3-102. License requirement. No person may establish,
9 operate, maintain, offer or advertise a facility within this
10 State unless and until he obtains a valid license therefor as
11 hereinafter provided, which license remains unsuspended,
12 unrevoked and unexpired. No public official or employee may
13 place any person in, or recommend that any person be placed
14 in, or directly or indirectly cause any person to be placed
15 in any facility which is being operated without a valid
16 license.
