1 AN ACT to amend the Environmental Protection Act by
2 changing Section 15.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended by
6 changing Section 15 as follows:
7 (415 ILCS 5/15) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1015)
8 Sec. 15. Public water supply plan; approval. Owners of
9 public water supplies, their authorized representative, or
10 legal custodians, shall submit plans and specifications to
11 the Agency and obtain written approval before construction of
12 any proposed public water supply installations, changes, or
13 additions is started. Plans and specifications shall be
14 complete and of sufficient detail to show all proposed
15 construction, changes, or additions that may affect sanitary
16 quality, mineral quality, or adequacy of the public water
17 supply; and, where necessary, said plans and specifications
18 shall be accompanied by supplemental data as may be required
19 by the Agency to permit a complete review thereof.
