Makes appropriations or reappropriations or both to the
Guardianship and Advocacy Commission for fiscal year 1998.

1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 1. The following named sums, or so much thereof
5 as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated from the
6 General Revenue Fund to the Guardianship and Advocacy
7 Commission for the purposes hereinafter named:
8 For Personal Services......................... $ 4,963,400
9 For Employee Retirement Contributions
10 Paid by Employer............................. 198,500
11 For State Contributions to the State
12 Employees' Retirement System ................. 253,200
13 For State Contributions to
14 Social Security.............................. 378,600
15 For Contractual Services...................... 132,400
16 For Travel.................................... 153,600
17 For Commodities............................... 12,400
18 For Printing.................................. 13,200
19 For Equipment................................. 31,200
20 For Electronic Data Processing................ 2,900
21 For Telecommunications Services............... 201,900
22 For Operation of Auto Equipment............... 4,900
23 Total $6,346,200
24 Section 2. The sum of $140,000, or so much thereof as
25 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Guardianship and
26 Advocacy Fund to the Guardianship and Advocacy Commission for
27 services pursuant to Section 5 of the Guardianship and
28 Advocacy Act.
29 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
30 July 1, 1997.
