1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1971, AS AMENDED
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1971, as amended,
3 on page 49, by inserting immediately before Section 999 the
4 following:
5 "Section 200. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much of that
6 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
7 Revenue Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for the
8 purpose of making a grant to the Village of De Pue to
9 implement shoreline stabilization and improvements for Lake
10 De Pue.
11 Section 205. The sum of $10,000,000, or so much thereof
12 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
13 Fund to the Illinois River Coordinating Council created under
14 the Illinois River Restoration and Conservation Grant Act, of
15 which $100,000 may be used by the Council to support
16 administrative and travel expenses incurred by Council
17 members in the course of performing duties requried under
18 that Act, and the balance of which shall be allocated by the
19 Council to fund grants awarded under that Act.
20 Section 210. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof
21 as may be necessary is appropriated from the General Revenue
22 Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for the purpose
23 of making a grant to the Village of Maywood to assist with

1 the development of a new town center.
2 Section 215. The sum of $25,000,000, or so much thereof
3 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital
4 Development Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for a
5 grant to the Chicago Park District for the purpose of
6 repairing the Lake Michigan shoreline in Chicago.
7 Section 220. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much of
8 that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the
9 General Revenue Fund to the Department of Natural Resources
10 for the purpose of carrying out Phase III of the
11 Willow-Higgins Creek improvement.".
