 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2005
 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2005, on  page  34,
 3    by inserting before line 12 the following:
 4        "Section  70.  The  sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof
 5    as may be necessary, is appropriated  to  the  Department  of
 6    Commerce  and Community Affairs for the purpose of a grant to
 7    the City of Chicago for the  area  commonly  referred  to  as
 8    Bronzeville, in the City of Chicago.
 9        Section 75.  The amount of $1,200,000, or so much thereof
10    as  may  be  necessary,  is  appropriated to the Departmentof
11    Commerce and Community Affairs for the purpose of development
12    of the industrial park infrastructure at the Joliet  Arsenal,
13    located in Will County.
14        Section 80.  The amount of $20,000, or so much thereof as
15    may  be  necessary,  is  appropriated  to  the  Department of
16    Commerce and Community Affairs for the purpose of a grant  to
17    the  Chicago  Park  District for the Funston School Community
18    Center located in the City of Chicago.
19        Section 85.  The amount of $63,000 or so much thereof  as
20    may  be necessary, is appropriated from the Tourism Promotion
21    Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs  for
22    the  purpose  of  a  grant  to  the  Puerto  Rican Chamber of

 1    Commerce of Illinois, to promote  tourism  to  Illinois  from
 2    Puerto Rico as well as other Latin American countries.
 3        Section  90.  The amount of $1,000,000 or so much thereof
 4    as may be necessary, is appropriated  to  the  Department  of
 5    Commerce  and Community Affairs for the purpose of a grant to
 6    the City of Chicago for the Logan Square YMCA for  the  Youth
 7    Sports Program.
 8        Section 95.  The amount of $500,000 or so much thereof as
 9    may  be necessary, is appropriated from the Tourism Promotion
10    Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs  for
11    the  purpose of a grant to the Canal Corridor Association for
12    all costs associated with promoting tourism at  the  Illinois
13    and Michigan Canal.
14        Section  100.  The  amount of $600,000 or so much thereof
15    as may be necessary, is appropriated  to  the  Department  of
16    Commerce   and   Community   Affairs   for   the  purpose  of
17    implementing   the   Family   and    Community    Development
18    Demonstration Grant Program Act of 1997.
19        Section 105.  In addition to any other amounts, the total
20    of  $1,500,000  is appropriated to the Department of Commerce
21    and Community Affairs for making  a  grant  to  the  City  of
22    Chicago   for   all   costs  associated  with  the  planning,
23    development, and construction of the Lou  Rawls  theater  and
24    cultural center.
25        Section  110.  The amount of $40,000 is appropriated from
26    the Tourism Promotion Fund to the Department of Commerce  and
27    Community  Affairs  for the purpose of a grant to the Chicago
28    Latino Cinema for the Chicago Latino Film Festival.
29        Section 115.  The amount of $3,000,000 or so much as  may
30    be  necessary,  is appropriated to the Department of Commerce
31    and   Community   Affairs   for   the   implementation    and

 1    administration  of  the  Small  Business Surety Bond Guaranty
 2    Act.
 3        Section 120.  The sum of $50,000 or so  much  as  may  be
 4    necessary,  is  appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
 5    the Department of Commerce  and  Community  Affairs  for  the
 6    purpose  of  a grant to develop a bilingual education program
 7    utilizing print and  broadcast  media  informing  the  public
 8    about alcoholism, drug dependency, and teen pregnancy.
 9        Section  125.  The sum of $600,000, or so much thereof as
10    may be necessary, is appropriated from the  Coal  Development
11    Fund  to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for
12    the  State  Implementation  Plan  of  the  Interstate   Ozone
13    Transport Oversight Act.".
