1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2018
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2018 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT to amend the Illinois Public Aid Code by changing
5 Section 10-9."; and
6 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
7 following:
8 "Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
9 changing Section 10-9 as follows:
10 (305 ILCS 5/10-9) (from Ch. 23, par. 10-9)
11 Sec. 10-9. Alternative Actions to Enforce Support.
12 If a responsible relative fails or refuses to furnish
13 support, or contributes less than the amount indicated by the
14 determination, the administrative enforcement unit shall take
15 action to enforce the support obligation in accordance with
16 Section 10--10 or Section 10--11.
