confidentiality of materials concerning trade secrets.

1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Development Finance
2 Authority Act by changing Section 7.11.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Development Finance Authority
6 Act is amended by changing Section 7.11 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 3505/7.11) (from Ch. 48, par. 850.07j1)
8 Sec. 7.11. Documentary materials concerning trade
9 secrets; Commercial or financial information;
10 Confidentiality. Any documentary materials or data made or
11 received by any member, agent or employee of the Authority or
12 the credit review committees, to the extent that the such
13 materials or data consist of trade secrets, commercial or
14 financial information regarding the operation of any
15 enterprise conducted by an applicant for, or recipient of,
16 any form of assistance which the Authority is empowered to
17 render under Sections 7.1 through 7.10 of this Act, or
18 regarding the competitive position of such enterprise in a
19 particular field of endeavor, shall not be deemed public
20 records.
