Requires each bottle of water of one gallon or more capacity sold in Illinois for human consumption to bear a label stating (i) the date of bottling, (ii) the source of the water, (iii) the mineral content, (iv) the bottling company's name and address, and (v) a statement that the water is potable. The Bottled Water Act is amended by adding 6 Section 10 as follows: 7 (815 ILCS 310/10 new) 8 Sec. 10. Labeling requirement. Each bottle of one gallon 9 or more capacity containing water to be sold in this State 10 for human consumption shall bear a label containing the 11 following information: 12 (1) The date on which the water was bottled. 13 (2) The source of the water. 14 (3) The mineral contents of the water. 15 (4) The bottling company's name and address. 16 (5) A statement that the water is potable, as 17 defined under Section 3.65 of the Environmental 18 Protection Act.
