1 AN ACT to amend the Currency Exchange Act by changing
2 Section 3.1.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Currency Exchange Act is amended by
6 changing Section 3.1 as follows:
7 (205 ILCS 405/3.1) (from Ch. 17, par. 4805)
8 Sec. 3.1. Income tax services. Nothing in this Act shall
9 prevent a currency exchange from rendering State or Federal
10 income tax service; nor shall the rendering of such service
11 be considered a violation of this Act if such service be
12 rendered either by the proprietor or any of his employees.
