1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2436
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2436 on page 1,
3 lines 2 and 6, by changing "10" each time it appears to "10
4 and adding Section 3"; and
5 on page 1 by inserting immediately below line 6 the
6 following:
7 "(820 ILCS 320/3 new)
8 Sec. 3. Definitions.
9 "Catastrophic injury" means consequences of an injury
10 that permanently prevent an individual from performing any
11 gainful work activity.
12 "Gainful work activity" means work activity that is done
13 for pay or profit. Work activity is gainful if it is the
14 kind of work usually done for pay or profit, whether or not a
15 profit is realized or pay is received.".
