Makes a technical change in a provision providing that the State's Attorneys of the several counties shall represent the State in cases regarding admission, transfer, and discharge procedures for the mentally ill. The Mental Health and Developmental 6 Disabilities Code is amended by changing Section 3-101 as 7 follows: 8 (405 ILCS 5/3-101) (from Ch. 91 1/2, par. 3-101) 9 Sec. 3-101. The State's Attorneys of the several 10 counties shall represent the people of the State of Illinois 11 in court proceedings under this Chapter and in proceedings 12 under Section 2-107.1 in their respective counties, shall 13 attend such proceedings either in person or by assistant, and 14 shall ensure that petitions, reports and orders are properly 15 prepared.
