1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2656
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2656 on page 1,
3 below line 24, by inserting the following:
4 "Contracts that combine design and construction, if not
5 competitively bid, shall be let according to a formal
6 selection process established by rule. That selection
7 process shall: (i) require a published request for proposals
8 (RFP); (ii) require consideration of price, but shall not
9 require that price be the sole consideration; and (iii)
10 provide that the final selection process may include
11 negotiation.".
