LRB9007955PTcw HB2672 Engrossed LRB9007955PTcw 1 AN ACT to amend the State Comptroller Act by changing 2 Section 14. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The State Comptroller Act is amended by 6 changing Section 14 as follows: 7 (15 ILCS 405/14) (from Ch. 15, par. 214) 8 Sec. 14. Forms of documents. The Comptroller may 9 prescribe and require State agencies to use forms for all 10 documents required by law in the performance of the 11 Comptroller'shisduties or that the Comptrollerwhich hemay 12 reasonably require therefor. The Comptroller may prescribe 13 by rule the general nature of information to be contained in 14 contracts required to be filed with the Comptrollerhimunder 15 Sections 11 and 15 of this Act. Any such rule shall be 16 adopted, amended, or repealed as provided by the 17 Administrative Procedure Act. 18 For the purpose of addressing Year 2000 concerns, the 19 Comptroller may prescribe dating conventions for the uniform 20 presentation of dates on all documents required to be filed 21 with the Comptroller. 22 The Comptroller may, when the Comptrollerhedeems it 23 advisable for the promotion of efficiency in State 24 government, accept magnetic tape vouchers, electronically 25 submitted vouchers, and computer output microfiche vouchers. 26 The Comptroller shall process thesesuchvouchers as provided 27 in Section 9. These vouchers shall be subject to conditions 28 and requirements established by the Comptroller. 29 Computer output microfiche vouchers shall be deemed 30 original records under the Comptroller's Records Act. 31 (Source: P.A. 89-360, eff. 8-17-95.)
