1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Insurance Code by changing
2 Section 143.21b.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
6 changing Section 143.21b as follows:
7 (215 ILCS 5/143.21b) (from Ch. 73, par. 755.21b)
8 Sec. 143.21b. Claims against fire and extended coverage
9 policy; cancellation. No policy of insurance as defined in
10 subsection b. of Section 143.13 of this Act may be cancelled
11 where the sole basis for such cancellation is the payment by
12 the insurance company of a claim or claims against such
13 policy.
