1 AN ACT to amend the Public Utilities Act by changing
2 Section 5-108.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by
6 changing Section 5-108 as follows:
7 (220 ILCS 5/5-108) (from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 5-108)
8 Sec. 5-108. Any officer or employee of the Commerce
9 Commission who divulges any fact or information coming to his
10 knowledge during the course of an inspection, examination or
11 investigation of any account, record, memorandum, book or
12 paper of a public utility, except in so far as he may be
13 authorized by the Commerce Commission or by a circuit court,
14 shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
