1 AN ACT to amend the Rural Bond Bank Act by changing
2 Section 2-3.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Rural Bond Bank Act is amended by
6 changing Section 2-3 as follows:
7 (30 ILCS 360/2-3) (from Ch. 17, par. 7202-3)
8 Sec. 2-3. Compensation. Each public commissioner shall
9 be reimbursed for his or her actual expenses incurred in
10 traveling to and from meetings of the board. All
11 commissioners shall be reimbursed for their reasonable
12 expenses incurred in carrying out their duties under this
13 Act. Notwithstanding any other law, no officer or employee of
14 the State may be deemed to have forfeited or may forfeit
15 their office or employment or any benefits or emoluments of
16 their office or employment due to accepting the office of
17 commissioner of the Bank or performing services in that
18 office.
19 The board of commissioners shall fix the compensation of
20 the executive director.
