Appropriates $300,000 to the Historic Preservation Agency
for a grant to the Canal Corridor Association for all costs
associated with promoting knowledge of and tourism at the

1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. In addition to any other amounts, the amount
5 of $300,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary,
6 is appropriated to the Historic Preservation Agency for a
7 grant to the Canal Corridor Association for all costs
8 associated with promoting knowledge of and tourism at the
9 Illinois and Michigan Canal.
10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
11 July 1, 1998.
