1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, In the 89th General Assembly, House Joint
3 Resolution 85 was approved by both Houses and resolved to
4 require the Task Force on Weights and Measures to report to
5 the General Assembly and the Governor on its findings and
6 recommendations by January 1, 1997; therefore be it
7 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
8 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
9 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the date by which the Task
10 Force must report to the General Assembly and the Governor is
11 extended to May 31, 1997; and be it further
12 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13 delivered to the Governor and the Director of Agriculture.
