1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 47
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Joint Resolution 47 on
3 page 1, line 11, after "beds" by inserting "and the Illinois
4 Veterans Home at Anna by 80 beds"; and
5 on page 1, by replacing line 12 with "the Veterans Homes to
6 properly serve hundreds of veterans requiring"; and
7 on page 1, below line 25, by inserting the following:
8 "WHEREAS, The Illinois Veterans Home at Anna requires
9 additional beds to serve the ever increasing population of
10 State veterans in southern Illinois who are eligible for
11 medical care by the Veterans Home; and"; and
12 on page 1, line 27, before the comma, by inserting "and the
13 Anna Veterans Home"; and
14 on page 2, by replacing line 6 with "beds each the capacities
15 of the Illinois Veterans Homes at LaSalle and Anna to"; and
16 on page 2, line 7, by replacing "region" with "and southern
17 regions"; and
18 on page 2, by replacing line 13 with "Illinois Veterans Homes
19 at LaSalle and Anna.".
