1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored and
3 delighted to recognize Palos Community Hospital in Palos
4 Heights on the occasion of the celebration of the 25th
5 anniversary of its founding; and
6 WHEREAS, Twenty-five years ago, Palos Community Hospital
7 opened with 265 beds; this anniversary shows the institution
8 now offers 436 beds with 386 physicians, representing 40
9 specialties and subspecialties; and
10 WHEREAS, The hospital's mission is to provide quality
11 health care services and to improve the general health status
12 of those it serves; and
13 WHEREAS, Throughout the past 25 years, Palos Community
14 Hospital has undergone remarkable growth and change in both
15 physical plant and in services to the community and the
16 devotion and self-sacrificing commitment of the staff and
17 employees of Palos Community Hospital has been an inspiration
18 to all; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
20 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
21 congratulate Palos Community Hospital on the occasion of its
22 25th anniversary and that we acknowledge the valuable
23 services it has provided throughout the years; and be it
24 further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to Sister Margaret Wright, President of Palos
27 Community Hospital.
