1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Aimee Fyke on being
4 promoted to Vice President of Operations for the Extended
5 Services Division of Tharaldson Enterprises; and
6 WHEREAS, Aimee Fyke began her career with Tharaldson
7 Enterprises on May 1, 1991 as the General Manager of the
8 Fairfield Inn of Decatur, Illinois; and
9 WHEREAS, In October of 1991 Aimee was promoted to Area
10 Director, a position that over saw the operation of 12 area
11 hotels; in April of 1994 Aimee was promoted to the position
12 of Regional Vice President, with an area consisting of 64
13 hotels in 6 states; and
14 WHEREAS, In January of 1997 Aimee was promoted to Vice
15 President of Operations for the Extended Services Division of
16 Tharaldson Enterprises, Inc.; the new position includes all
17 Residence Inns and Courtyards, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inns
18 and Suites, Hawthorne Suites, Quality Suites, Mainstays, and
19 Townplaces throughout the nation; in addition, Aimee handles
20 all of the State's economy properties; and
21 WHEREAS, Aimee is supported by her staff, which includes:
22 Debbie Schneider, Darien Schaefer, Rich Hoffman, Dean
23 Manternach, Eric Schmidt, Emre Karaca, James Lakadat, and
24 Anne McElroy; and
25 WHEREAS, Aimee graduated from St. Teresa High School in
26 1985; in 1989 she graduated from Southern Illinois
27 University; and
28 WHEREAS, Aimee is the daughter of Patrick and Phebe
29 Lashmet; she is the proud wife of Tim Fyke, and they are the
30 loving parents of two daughters, Danielle and Sydney;

1 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
2 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
3 congratulate Aimee Fyke on her promotion within Tharaldson
4 Enterprises, Inc., and wish her continued success in her
5 career; and be it further
6 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to Aimee Fyke of Decatur, Illinois.
