1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Village of Mokena, Illinois recently honored
3 Mayor Ronald J. Grotovsky with a Village resolution; and
4 WHEREAS, Ronald Grotovsky has served the Village of
5 Mokena as a Village Trustee from 1981 to 1985 and 1987 to
6 1989; in 1989 and 1993 Ronald Grotovsky was elected to serve
7 as Village President through 1997; and
8 WHEREAS, While serving the Village of Mokena, either as a
9 Trustee or Mayor, Ronald Grotovsky has shown his dedication
10 to the people of Mokena, and his proven record of service has
11 shown both unselfish motives and a willingness to work for
12 the Village; and
13 WHEREAS, Mayor Grotovsky has served on several boards,
14 commissions, and village committees; his co-workers say that
15 he is someone that it was an honor to serve with; and
16 WHEREAS, Ronald Grotovsky and his wife Cheryl, along with
17 the rest of their family, have shown the citizens of the
18 Village of Mokena what honor is all about by their
19 willingness to work for the good of all the people;
20 therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
22 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
23 salute Mayor Ronald Grotovsky of Mokena, Illinois; and be it
24 further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to Mayor Ronald J. Grotovsky of Mokena, Illinois.
