1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to
3 recognize significant milestones in the lives of individuals
4 who have made significant contributions to the people of this
5 State; and
6 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Jeanne Maggio
7 has recently announced her retirement after twenty years of
8 service as an official of the Village of Glenwood, four years
9 as village clerk and the last sixteen years as trustee; and
10 WHEREAS, Her accomplishments were many, and her energetic
11 leadership earned her the respect of all who have had the
12 privilege of knowing her; and
13 WHEREAS, She was lovingly supported throughout her civic
14 and private life by her husband, Marco; therefore, be it
15 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
17 congratulate Mrs. Jeanne Maggio as she retires as trustee of
18 the Village of Glenwood and extend to her our sincere best
19 wishes for the future; and be it further
20 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21 presented to her as an expression of our respect and esteem.
