1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the House were saddened to learn
3 of the death of Matthew Ryan of Western Springs on Wednesday,
4 April 9, 1997, the victim of an automobile accident; and
5 WHEREAS, He was born on January 4, 1984, the son of Sarah
6 and Kevin Ryan, and was a 7th grade student at McClure Junior
7 High School; and
8 WHEREAS, An excellent student who set goals and strove to
9 achieve them, Matthew Ryan also enjoyed sports, including
10 soccer, wrestling, roller hockey, and football; his ambition
11 was to be the best volleyball player the world had seen; and
12 WHEREAS, Warm, caring, and generous, Matthew Ryan reached
13 out to all; he had the ability to wake up with a smile each
14 morning and to keep it all day; his loving nature will be
15 missed by all, especially his parents, Sarah and Kevin, and
16 his brother, Sean; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 note with sorrow and regret the death of Matthew Ryan and
20 extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and
21 be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Matthew Ryan.
