1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Illinois Hospital & HealthSystems
3 Association (IHHA) is celebrating its 75th anniversary during
4 1998; and
5 WHEREAS, IHHA represents more than 200 hospitals and
6 health systems in Illinois; and
7 WHEREAS, IHHA serves and supports the State's hospitals
8 and health systems as they provide vital, high-quality health
9 care services to their patients and communities; and
10 WHEREAS, IHHA develops and advocates responsible health
11 care policies that support access to care, patient rights,
12 provider accountability, improved community health status,
13 and assurance of quality; and
14 WHEREAS, IHHA works closely and cooperatively with the
15 General Assembly, State government departments, regulatory
16 agencies, and health provider organizations in order to
17 protect and improve the public health; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
20 salute IHHA in celebrating its 75 years of service to the
21 hospitals of Illinois and wish to acknowledge its many
22 contributions to the health and welfare of our citizens; and
23 be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to the Illinois Hospital & HealthSystems
26 Association.
