1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Milece Stropin Krilich
4 on the occasion of her seventieth birthday; and
5 WHEREAS, Milece Stropin Krilich was born in Chicago,
6 Illinois on March 16, 1928; her parents were John and Julia
7 Stropin; she had two sisters, Charolette (Drago) Damas and
8 Ivanka (Bunny) Zurawski; and
9 WHEREAS, On September 24, 1949 she married Peter Paul
10 Krilich; for forty-six years they remained together until his
11 death on October 14, 1995; and
12 WHEREAS, She is the proud mother of Richard, Robert, and
13 Peter; she is the proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren;
14 and
15 WHEREAS, Milece Krilich was a private caterer on the
16 Southside of Chicago until her retirement in 1990; Milece
17 always took an active part in her business "Catering by
18 Milece"; she is an active member of the Croatian Fraternal
19 Union, the Lansing Women's Club, and many other
20 organizations; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
22 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
23 congratulate Milece on the celebration of her birthday; may
24 she continue to enjoy many more; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to Milece Krilich with our regards.
