1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Corinne Beller on
4 receiving the Westmont Citizen of the Year Award; and
5 WHEREAS, Corinne Beller was instrumental in organizing
6 the Westmont Main Street program, and serving as its first
7 president; Corinne Beller has been involved with the Westmont
8 Chamber of Commerce for more than ten years, and has also
9 served as its president; and
10 WHEREAS, Corinne Beller received the Mayor's Appreciation
11 Award in 1996 for her help in Westmont's 75th Anniversary
12 celebration; Corinne Beller was nominated from a field of
13 five candidates; therefore, be it
14 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
15 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
16 congratulate Corinne Beller of Westmont on being chosen
17 Citizen of the Year; and be it further
18 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to Corinne Beller, along with our sincere regards.
