1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that John Almquist
3 was named Educator of the Year by the Winnetka Chamber of
4 Commerce; and
5 WHEREAS, Mr. Almquist is in his 35th year as an art
6 teacher at North Shore Country Day School; and
7 WHEREAS, John Almquist is an artist who has exhibited in
8 Chicago, Boston, and London; it is his influence that has
9 made his students so outstanding, and he has enhanced their
10 quality of life; therefore, be it
11 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
12 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
13 congratulate John Almquist on being named Educator of the
14 Year by the Winnetka Chamber of Commerce and wish to extend
15 our sincere best wishes for his future; and be it further
16 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17 presented to John Almquist.
