1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, We are pleased to recognize significant
3 milestones in the lives of the people and organizations of
4 this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that on April 19,
6 1998 Kevin J. Zielinski has become the youngest member in
7 Troop 358 to enter the Eagle Scout Court of Honor; and
8 WHEREAS, Kevin J. Zielinski began his Scouting career
9 with Cub Scout Pack 358 in 1991 and achieved the Cub
10 Scouting's highest award, the Arrow of Light, and earned his
11 religious award, Parvuli Dei, while with the pack; and
12 WHEREAS, Kevin J. Zielinski has earned the World
13 Conservation Award and 50 Miller Award during his years with
14 Boy Scout Troop 358; and
15 WHEREAS, Kevin J. Zielinski has served in many troop
16 leadership programs including Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol
17 Leader, Chaplain Aide, and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader,
18 and is currently serving as Senior Patrol Leader; and
19 WHEREAS, Kevin J. Zielinski is an eighth grader at St.
20 Christopher School and plans to attend Marian Catholic High
21 School in the fall; and
22 WHEREAS, Kevin J. Zielinski is a worthy Scout to join the
23 ranks of Eagle, the fortieth in the history of Troop 358;
24 therefore, be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
26 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
27 congratulate Kevin J. Zielinski on becoming the fortieth
28 Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop 358 and for his outstanding
29 service to the community and St. Christopher Church and we
30 extend our sincere best wishes to Scout Kevin J. Zielinski in

1 the future; and be it further
2 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to Eagle Scout Kevin J. Zielinski as an expression
4 of our respect and esteem.
