1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body were saddened to learn
3 of the death of Mrs. Delores Streeter of Chicago on Sunday,
4 April 26, 1998; and
5 WHEREAS, She was born on May 17, 1937, the daughter of
6 Leon and Catherine Scott; she was married to Allan Streeter
7 on March 2, 1954 and to this union were born Debby, Leon, and
8 Anita; and
9 WHEREAS, She became a Christian early in life; she was a
10 Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Mission One Group,
11 visiting the sick, nursing homes, and prisons; and
12 WHEREAS, Mrs. Streeter was a member of the Chicago
13 Association of Realtors, a member of the Dearborn Realtors,
14 the Women's Council of Realtors, the Illinois Association of
15 Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the
16 Target Board; she was due to receive her G.R.I. broker
17 license; and
18 WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt by her family
19 and friends, especially her husband, Allan; her children,
20 Leon and Anita; her brothers, Aaron and Kenneth; her
21 granddaughter, Jada; and her cousins, Royal and Gaylord;
22 therefore, be it
23 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
24 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
25 note with sorrow and regret the death of Mrs. Delores
26 Streeter and extend our sincere condolences to her family and
27 friends; and be it further
28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
29 presented to Mr. Allan Streeter.
