1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The institution of marriage is one of the
3 cornerstones upon which our society is built, and a marriage
4 that has achieved a notable longevity is truly a model for
5 the people of the State of Illinois; and
6 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Mr. and Mrs.
7 Bill McKaufsky of Rantoul will celebrate the fiftieth
8 anniversary of their marriage; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. McKaufsky were united in holy
10 matrimony on October 2, 1948 at the American Lutheran Church
11 in Rantoul; and
12 WHEREAS, They are the loving parents of Greg McKaufsky,
13 Randy McKaufsky, and Connie Early and the proud grandparents
14 of five grandchildren; and
15 WHEREAS, The respect for marriage reaches one of its
16 highest plateaus when a couple such as Bill and Betty
17 McKaufsky celebrate their golden wedding anniversary; and
18 WHEREAS, Bill and Betty McKaufsky stand as examples of
19 the best of our society, and their love and devotion to each
20 other and to their family and friends serve as a reminder to
21 all that hard work, dedication, and love can make a
22 difference in today's world; therefore be it
23 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
24 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
25 congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Bill McKaufsky on the occasion of
26 their fiftieth wedding anniversary; that we commend them for
27 achieving a long and happy marriage, blessed with children
28 and grandchildren and rich in friendships; and that we wish
29 them happiness and good health in the future; and be it
30 further
