1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 429
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 429, on page 4,
3 line 21, by deleting "(6),"; and
4 on page 4, line 22, by inserting after the period the
5 following:
6 "Aggravated assault as defined in paragraph (6) of subsection
7 (a) of this Section is a Class A misdemeanor if a firearm is
8 not used in the commission of the assault. Aggravated
9 assault as defined in paragraph (6) of subsection (a) of this
10 Section is a Class 4 felony if a firearm is used in the
11 commission of the assault."; and
12 on page 8, line 3, by deleting "(6),"; and
13 on page 8, line 4, by inserting after the period the
14 following:
15 "Aggravated assault as defined in paragraph (6) of subsection
16 (a) of this Section is a Class A misdemeanor if a firearm is
17 not used in the commission of the assault. Aggravated
18 assault as defined in paragraph (6) of subsection (a) of this
