The Child Labor Law is amended by changing 6 Section 4 as follows: 7 (820 ILCS 205/4) (from Ch. 48, par. 31.4) 8 Sec. 4. Meal period. No minor under sixteen (16) years 9 of age shall be employed, or permitted to work in any gainful 10 occupations mentioned in Section 1 of this Act for more than 11 five (5) hours continuously without an interval of at least 12 thirty (30) minutes for meal period, and no period of less 13 than thirty (30) minutes shall be deemed to interrupt a 14 continuous period of work. 15 (Source: Laws 1945, p. 754.)
