1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection
2 Act by changing Section 1.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act
6 is amended by changing Section 1 as follows:
7 (820 ILCS 115/1) (from Ch. 48, par. 39m-1)
8 Sec. 1. Application. This Act applies to all employers
9 and employees in this State, including employees of units of
10 local government and school districts, but excepting
11 employees of the State or Federal governments.
