1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 682
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 682 on page 2,
3 below line 29, by inserting the following:
4 "Section 90. The State Mandates Act is amended by adding
5 Section 8.21 as follows:
6 (30 ILCS 805/8.21 new)
7 Sec. 8.21. Exempt mandate. Notwithstanding Sections 6
8 and 8 of this Act, no reimbursement by the State is required
9 for the implementation of any mandate created by this
10 amendatory Act of 1997.".
