1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 689
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 689, AS AMENDED,
3 as follows:
4 in Section 5, Sec. 3, the sentence beginning "It is the
5 purpose", by replacing "hazard signage systems applicable to
6 placarding" with "hazard signage systems applicable to
7 placarding"; and
8 in Section 5, Sec. 5.09, the sentence beginning "To provide
9 for a period", by replacing "the adoption of any placarding
10 system applicable to transportation," with "the adoption of
11 any hazard placarding system,"; and
12 in Section 5, Sec. 5.09, the sentence beginning "To provide
13 for a period", by replacing "to comply with such placarding
14 system applicable to transportation," with "to comply with
15 such hazard placarding system,"; and
16 in Section 5, Sec. 5.09, the sentence beginning "Copies", by
17 replacing "placarding systems applicable to transportation,"
18 with "hazard placarding systems,"; and
19 in Section 5, Sec. 6, by replacing "transportation, or
20 manufacture" with "transportation, or manufacture"; and
21 in Section 5, Sec. 6, by replacing "appropriate placards or

1 hazard signage" with "appropriate hazard signage placards";
2 and
3 in Section 5, Sec. 6, by replacing "by the Agency or the
4 Department" with "by the Agency or the Department"; and
5 in Section 5, Sec. 8, by replacing "by the Agency or the
6 Department" with "by the Agency or the Department".
