Amend Senate Bill 1019, AS AMENDED, 3 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the 4 following: 5 "Section 5. Upon the condition that the sale proceeds be 6 expended by the Kendall County Forest Preserve District for 7 land acquisition for the District, the President of the 8 Kendall County Forest Preserve District, with the advice and 9 consent of the other commissioners, is authorized to execute 10 the necessary deeds or documents of conveyance to transfer to 11 the Kendall County Fair Association at a price of $200,000 12 the fee simple title to the following described land: 13 That part of Section 8, Township 36 North, Range 7 14 East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as 15 follows: beginning at the North West corner of Woodland 16 Acres Subdivision as recorded September 23, 1971, in Book 17 14 of Plats at pages 1 and 2 in the Recorder's Office of 18 Kendall County, Illinois thence North 0 degrees, 21 19 minutes, 00 seconds East along the Westerly line of said 20 Woodland Acres Subdivision extended a distance of 314.7 21 feet to a pipe, thence South 73 degrees, 19 minutes, 39 22 seconds West, 520.13 feet to a pipe; thence North 11 23 degrees, 46 minutes, 45 seconds West, 208.8 feet to a -2- LRB9001319PTcwam02 1 pipe, thence South 73 degrees, 19 minutes, 39 seconds 2 West, 208.8 feet to a pipe on the Westerly line of High 3 Point Road, thence North 11 degrees, 46 minutes, 45 4 seconds West along said Westerly line of High Point Road 5 657.12 feet to a chiseled cross in the centerline of 6 Illinois Route 71, thence Easterly along said centerline 7 being a curve-to the right, and having a radius of 8 4523.44 feet, through a central angle of 7 degrees, 58 9 minutes, 08 seconds, an arc distance of 629.14 feet to a 10 point of tangency, thence north 76 degrees, 15 minutes, 11 18 seconds east along said centerline a distance of 12 689.23 feet to a chiseled cross, thence south 12 degrees, 13 24 minutes, 04 seconds East a distance of 1320.74 feet to 14 the North East corner of said Woodland Acres Subdivision, 15 thence South 88 degrees, 26 minutes, 17 seconds West 16 along the Northerly line of said Woodland Acres 17 Subdivision a distance of 679.02 feet to the point of 18 beginning, in the Township of Kendall, Kendall County, 19 Illinois, except that portion falling within Warranty 20 Deed recorded September 12, 1972, as Document 72-4253. 21 Section 10. The President of the Kendall County Forest 22 Preserve District, with the advice and consent of the other 23 commissioners, is authorized to execute the necessary deeds 24 or documents of conveyance to transfer to Kendall Township at 25 a price of $10 the fee simple title to the following 26 described land: 27 That part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 8, 28 Township 36 North, Range 7 East of the Third Principal 29 Meridian described as follows: Commencing at the 30 Intersection of the center line of Immanuel Road with the 31 center line of Legion Road extended from the East; thence 32 northeasterly along said Legion Road center line, 369.60 33 feet for a point of beginning; thence northerly parallel -3- LRB9001319PTcwam02 1 with the westerly line of Sublot 10 of said Section 8, as 2 shown by a plat recorded in Plat Book 3 on Page 65, a 3 distance of 165.0 feet, thence southwesterly parallel 4 with said Legion Road center line, 132.0 feet to said 5 westerly line; thence northerly along said westerly line, 6 148.10 feet; thence easterly along a line perpendicular 7 with the last described course, 126.51 feet; thence 8 southerly along a line which forms an angle of 87 9 degrees, 20 minutes, 44 seconds with the last described 10 course, measured counter-clockwise therefrom, 52.77 feet, 11 thence easterly perpendicular to the last described 12 course 45.0 feet; thence southerly along a line which 13 forms an angle of 91 degrees, 12 minutes, 45 seconds 14 with the last described course, measured 15 counter-clockwise therefrom, 197.42 feet to the center 16 line of Legion Road; thence southwesterly along said 17 center line 43.00 feet to the point of beginning in 18 Kendall Township, Kendall County, Illinois and containing 19 0.559 acres. 20 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 21 becoming law.".
