1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1084
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1084, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
4 No. 1, on page 2, by inserting after line 6 the following:
5 "Section 7. Definition. As used in this Act, "assistive
6 technology" means a service or device that is used to
7 increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of
8 a person with a disability."; and
9 on page 2, line 9 by changing "The" to "Subject to
10 appropriation, the"; and
11 on page 2, line 12 by inserting after "location," the
12 following:
13 "as determined by the Department,"; and
14 on page 2, line 14 by inserting "the Department or by" after
15 "operated by"; and
16 on page 2, line 15 by deleting "and".
