1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1127
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1127, by inserting
3 on page 84 immediately after line 25 the following:
4 "Section 79. The amount of $60,300 is appropriated to
5 the State Board of Education for a grant to Wilmington School
6 District 209-U to replace local property tax revenues lost
7 due to the exclusion from the taxable property of the
8 district of the value of land in the district owned by the
9 state.
10 Section 80. The amount of $31,300 is appropriated to the
11 State Board of Education for a grant to East Alton-Wood River
12 High School District 14 for the purpose of replacing revenues
13 lost due to reduced assessments.
14 Section 81. The amount of $381,600 is appropriated to
15 the State Board of Education for a grant to Roxana Community
16 Unit District 1 for the purpose of replacing revenues lost
17 due to reduced assessments.
18 Section 82. The amount of $156,500 is appropriated to
19 the State Board of Education for a grant to Wood
20 River-Hartford Elementary District 15 for the purpose of

1 replacing revenues lost due to reduced assessments.
2 Section 83. In addition to amounts already appropriated,
3 the sum of $850,000 is appropriated to the State Board of
4 Education for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the
5 Teachers' Academy for Math and Science in Chicago.".
