the Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois University for
the ordinary and contingent expenses of Northeastern Illinois
University for FY98 as follows:
General Revenue Fund $32,422,600
Education Assistance Fund $3,601,500
Effective July 1, 1997.

1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Board of Trustees of
2 Northeastern Illinois University.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
8 General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Northeastern
9 Illinois University to meet the ordinary and contingent
10 expenses of Northeastern Illinois University for the fiscal
11 year ending June 30, 1998:
12 For Personal Services, including
13 payment to the University for personal
14 services costs incurred during the
15 fiscal year................................. $32,222,600
16 For State Contribution to
17 Social Security .............................. 200,000
18 For Contractual Services ....................... -0-
19 For Travel ..................................... -0-
20 For Commodities ................................ -0-
21 For Equipment and Library Books ................ -0-
22 For Telecommunications Services ................ -0-
23 For Operation of Automotive Equipment .......... -0-
24 For Awards and Grants and Matching Funds........ -0-
25 For Permanent Improvements...................... -0-
26 Total $32,422,600
27 Section 10. The following named amount, or so much
28 thereof as may be necessary for the object and purpose
29 hereinafter named, is appropriated from the Education
30 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Northeastern
31 Illinois University to meet the ordinary and contingent

2 year ending June 30, 1998:

5 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
6 1, 1997.
