1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1267
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1267 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT to amend the Property Tax Code by changing
5 Section 19-60."; and
6 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
7 following:
8 "Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
9 Section 19-60 as follows:
10 (35 ILCS 200/19-60)
11 Sec. 19-60. Bond as security for taxes collected. The
12 bond of every county or township collector shall be held to
13 be security for the payment by the collector to the, county
14 treasurer and the taxing districts and proper authorities, of
15 all taxes, special assessments which are collected or
16 received on their behalf, and of all penalties which are
17 recovered against him or her.
