1 AN ACT to amend the Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency,
2 and Coal Resources Development Law of 1997 by changing
3 Section 6-4.
4 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
5 represented in the General Assembly:
6 Section 5. The Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, and
7 Coal Resources Development Law of 1997 is amended by changing
8 Section 6-4 as follows:
9 (20 ILCS 687/6-4)
10 (Section scheduled to be repealed on December 16, 2007)
11 Sec. 6-4. Renewable Energy Resources Trust Fund.
12 (a) A fund to be called the Renewable Energy Resources
13 Trust Fund is hereby established in the State Treasury.
14 (b) The Renewable Energy Resources Trust Fund shall be
15 administered by the Department to provide grants, loans, and
16 other incentives to foster investment in and the development
17 and use of renewable energy resources as provided in Section
18 6-3 of this Law.
19 (c) All funds used by the Department for the Renewable
20 Energy Resources Program shall be subject to appropriation by
21 the General Assembly.
