1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1622
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1622 on page 1,
3 lines 2 and 6, by changing "Section 10 and adding Section 27"
4 each time it appears to "Sections 10 and 25"; and
5 on page 2 by replacing lines 14 through 26 with the
6 following:
7 "(415 ILCS 120/25)
8 Sec. 25. Ethanol fuel research program. The Agency
9 shall initiate a research program to reduce the costs of
10 producing ethanol fuels and increase the viability of ethanol
11 fuels, new ethanol engine technologies, and ethanol refueling
12 infrastructure systems. This research shall be funded from
13 the Alternate Fuels Fund. The research program shall remain
14 in effect until December 31, 2002 1999, or until funds are no
15 longer available.
