Amends the Northern Illinois University Law. Makes
changes of style and punctuation in a provision relating to
the objects of Northern Illinois University.

1 AN ACT to amend the Northern Illinois University Law by
2 changing Section 30-5.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Northern Illinois University Law is
6 amended by changing Section 30-5 as follows:
7 (110 ILCS 685/30-5)
8 Sec. 30-5. Object. The object of Northern Illinois
9 University shall be is to offer such courses of instruction,
10 conduct such research, and offer such public services as are
11 prescribed by the Board of Trustees of Northern Illinois
12 University or its successor, subject to the provisions of
13 Section 7 of the Board of Higher Education Act.
