Appropriates funds to the State Universities Civil
Service System for ordinary and contingent expenses in Fiscal
Year 1999. Effective July 1, 1998.

1 AN ACT making appropriations for the ordinary and
2 contingent expenses of the State Universities Civil Service
3 System.
4 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
5 represented in the General Assembly:
6 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
7 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
8 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
9 General Revenue Fund to the State Universities Civil Service
10 System to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses for the
11 fiscal year ending June 30, 1999:
12 For Personal Services........................... $807,810
13 For Social Security............................. 3,275
14 For Contractual Services........................ 268,050
15 For Travel...................................... 6,580
16 For Commodities................................. 7,100
17 For Printing.................................... 7,800
18 For Equipment................................... 29,885
19 For Telecommunications Services................. 23,800
20 For Operation of Automotive Equipment........... 2,500
21 Total $1,156,800
22 Section 2. The following named amounts, or so much
23 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
24 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
25 Education Assistance Fund to the State Universities Civil
26 Service System to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses
27 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1999:

29 For Social Security............................. 225
30 For Contractual Services........................ 41,050
