Amends the Illinois Health Facilities Authority Act to
make a technical change.

1 AN ACT concerning health care facilities.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Health Facilities Authority Act
5 is amended by changing Section 6 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 3705/6) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1106)
7 Sec. 6. By means of this Act it is the intent of the
8 Illinois General Assembly to provide a measure of assistance
9 and alternative methods of financing to participating health
10 institutions to aid them in providing needed health
11 facilities that will assure admission and care of high
12 quality to all who need it and in dealing with the cash
13 requirements of such facilities, whether resulting from
14 capital expenditures, operating expenditures, delays in the
15 receipt of payments for services or otherwise.
