1 SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION
2 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
3 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
4 CONCURRING HEREIN, that the General Assembly, pursuant to
5 subsection (c) of Section 5 of Article IV of the Illinois
6 Constitution, hereby determines that the public interest
7 requires that the Pension Laws Commission, a legislative
8 commission, convene in closed session for the purpose of
9 reviewing personnel matters; and, therefore, the General
10 Assembly hereby authorizes the Pension Laws Commission to
11 convene in closed session for the purpose of reviewing
12 personnel matters during no more than 3 scheduled meetings,
13 after reasonable public notice as required by subsection (a)
14 of Section 7 of Article IV of the Illinois Constitution, to
15 be held during the period from March 1, 1997 through March
16 31, 1997; and be it further
17 RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be delivered to
18 each member of the Pension Laws Commission.
