1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were saddened
3 to learn of the death of Esther Danklef Vernetti of Mt.
4 Olive, Illinois on March 1, 1997; and
5 WHEREAS, Esther Vernetti was born on October 30, 1912 to
6 William J. and Pauline Niemann Danklef in Mt. Olive,
7 Illinois; and
8 WHEREAS, Esther Danklef attended Immanuel Lutheran School
9 and graduated from Mt. Olive High School; she married Raymond
10 Joseph Vernetti at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Mt. Olive
11 on May 17, 1941; and
12 WHEREAS, Mrs. Vernetti was a member of the Immanuel
13 Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, the Mission League, and Lydia
14 Circle; Mrs. Vernetti also served as a volunteer for the Red
15 Cross blood drive; and
16 WHEREAS, Mrs. Vernetti is survived by her loving husband
17 Raymond; a daughter, Jo Ann, and her husband John Gay; her
18 granddaughter Justine, her husband Jody Clevenger, and Mrs.
19 Vernetti's great-grandson Joshua Gai Clevenger; therefore, be
20 it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
22 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of Esther
23 Vernetti of Mt. Olive, Illinois, and wish her family the best
24 in this time of loss; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of Esther Vernetti.
