1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the recent death of Nicholas A. Phillips, secretary of the
4 Cook County Zoning Board of Appeals; and
5 WHEREAS, A resident of Prospect Heights, Nicholas
6 Phillips had been a county employee for forty years; he
7 headed the county department and assisted in finding zoning,
8 historical, and commercial information about property; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Phillips had served as a trustee of the
10 Prospect Heights Old Town Sanitary District; and
11 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family,
12 his community, and his many friends, especially his wife,
13 Josephine; his sons, Anthony and Dino; five grandchildren;
14 and his brothers and sisters; therefore, be it
15 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
16 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow and regret
17 the death of Mr. Nicholas A. Phillips and extend our sincere
18 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
19 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20 presented to his widow, Mrs. Josephine Phillips.
